The Grand Prix Museum contains exhibits that are related to Grand Prix racing worldwide. They include photos, videos, illustrated articles, cups, records of champions and some commemorative items. The Museum pays tribute to individuals who have made extensive contributions to the success of the Grand Prix. There is a collection of important racing cars that were raced and won at the Guia Circuit representing the history of one of the most exciting circuits in the world.
It all started in1954 due to the enthusiasm of a group of Macao residents and the support of the authorities. The museum re-opened in 1993 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Macau Grand Prix. It features a number of automobile and motorbike races and takes place every year in November.
