This is a general museum of society containing some cars.

The Johanna Museum exhibits classic cars, motorcycles, everyday appliances, musical instruments, toys and more. Collections of almost everything that was common during the 1900s in the home, in business, on the roads and used by the family.
Manfred Almkvist was keen on the collection and restoration of objects. With the 1914 Model T called Johanna, which was purchased in 1952. Large parts of his collections ended up in Sandåkra outside Skurup. Some got transported there by train. The Model T was also the symbol of the museum and the car’s name Johanna became the name of the museum.

1944 – Their son Bengt is born and he leads, along with the family, the operation of the museum.
1983 – Johanna Museum opens its doors, just a stone’s throw from Manfred’s childhood home.
