July and August: daily except Monday, 14:30-18:00. June and September: Sunday 14:30-18:00 (closed first weekend in June). October to May: by arrangement for groups. The museum does not appear to have its own website. Phone ahead before visiting to check they are open.
Housed in the 17C Château de Vernon there is a display of classic sports cars from the 1920s to the present. The collection was put together by Jean-Pierre Nylin and consists of nearly 50 cars. The exhibits may include: 1953 MG TD, 1940 Jaguar SS 3.5 Cabriolet, 1953 Bentley Type R, 1959 Facel Vegas HK500; Dinalpin, Alpine A110 berlinette built under licence in Mexico (1961-1977); Maserati, Lotus Esprit Sport 300, Dodge Viper GTS; pre-war Simcas and a Mini Countryman.
Berlinette – In the post-WWII era refers to a small enclosed two-door Berline.
Berline – A saloon is a car with seats for four or more people, a fixed roof, and a boot that is separated from the rear seats. In American English it would be referred to as a sedan.
