DESCRIPTION
This is a museum dedicated to the history of the H. H> Franklin Manufacturing Company. The company was based in Syracuse (NY) and built America’s first air-cooled automobile, with its innovative air-cooled motorcar in 1902 and continued production until 1934.

HISTORY
The museum was founded by Thomas Hubbard, the museum is a means to continue his collection of classic Franklin automobiles, and to provide an opportunity to develop a comprehensive Franklin Museum covering all years of the company’s production.

The Franklin Auto Museum™ is maintained by the Thomas H. Hubbard/H.H. Franklin Foundation.
