DESCRIPTION
The mission of the Blackhawk Museum is to stimulate interest and understanding of art, culture, and history. Through exhibitions and programming we engage, educate, and inspire. It includes a collection of cars covering a period of over 120 years. The Blackhawk Museum’s automotive exhibition presents and displays historically significant and artistically inspired automobiles from the very earliest to the contemporary. They have a rotating selection of more than 40 historically significant classic, sports, and styling cars, as well as traveling exhibitions. Check before going if you wish to see a particular car.

HISTORY
The museum was started in 1988 as a nonprofit corporation in a 70,000-square-foot facility. It was founded by a partnership between benefactor Ken Behring and Don Williams that began in 1982, the Blackhawk Automotive Museum first opened its doors in August 1988.
